Hybrid Events

Live events, with an online component, help ensure that an event’s attendees is not dictated by location.

Unfortunately, one of the main reasons people do not attend events is down to geography.

After attendance fees, participants may also consider

· travel
· accommodation
· childcare
· time away from the workplace, etc.

For many, one or more of the above makes attendance difficult with an impact on the potential audience.

Our own experience of two recent virtual conferences saw attendances double in size from previous face to face events.

This ‘new audience’ have now sampled the events, the client organisations, the content and the audience profile. Being part of the virtual event may also encourage them to attend live at some point in the future too.

With a hybrid event, the barrier to participation is lowered – those who want to attend, but cannot, and those who are unsure if the event will meet their needs and be a valuable use of their time.

This increases the potential footprint greatly, as it is broadcast to a much larger audience than ever could be possible in person - locally, nationally, and internationally.
